Under his tutelage, the Mega Man franchise experienced significant growth, achieving a total sales figure of 38 million units, an impressive increase of 7 million units compared to the stagnant period before Mega Man 11. Tsuchiya emerged as a key figure during an uncertain period following Keiji Inafune's departure in 2010. The news comes to us through Tsuchiya's Twitter profile, which he recently updated to indicate he has moved on from the company.

Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, the producer of the Mega Man series and, more recently, Street Fighter 6, has left Capcom. Because the game already surpassed one million units shortly after its April debut, we can eagerly anticipate its inclusion in the forthcoming fiscal year's final tally. Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection narrowly missed the cutoff for inclusion in the Platinum Titles due to its release timing falling outside of the fiscal year period. Therefore, presumably, the data reflected on the Platinum Titles likely refers to Volume 1 only. It's also worth pointing out that, according to then-series producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya, both X Legacy Collection volumes combined topped 1.4 million units in late 2019. Mega Man X Legacy Collection also charted with 1 million units. Mega Man Legacy Collection advanced to 1.4 million units (up 100K).

Mega Man Legacy Collection and Mega Man X Legacy Collection saw growth during this period as well. That's an increase of 100K units from last November to fiscal year ending March 31st 2023. According to the newest Capcom Platinum titles charts, the game now sits at 1.7 million units sold. Mega Man 11 continues its steady advance as the best selling entry in the franchise.
